We are seeking a professional transcriber to assist in extracting names and dates from historical criminal records. Key Responsibilities: - Review and transcribe information from scanned images of historical records. - Input extracted data into an online data entry program. Ideal Skills: - Previous experience with transcription. - Proficient in reading English handwritten records. - Able to maintain a pace of 1 image/page per 2 minutes. This is a 20-hour project, with the potential for an additional 60 hours. We are looking for someone who can help reduce the remaining workload performed by volunteers.
