Need help with MS Multi Media Control syntax for use in VB6 project - repost

I am building a Visual Basic 6 application using the Microsoft Multi Media Control MMCONTROL I know about the SAVE command [login to view URL] = "Save" however this saves the entire file in the buffer to disk. I need to know how to SAVE a portion of the file (ex: from POSITION A to POSITION B, or from the beginning to POSITION A) I just need an example of code that will work in Visual Basic 6 Since this is only a line or 2 of code, I can pay $25 for this knowledge, but it must be code that will work in VB6.
