Project Overview:
We are developing a high-security document storing system that requires rigorous testing to ensure data integrity, security, and performance. The system is designed to handle sensitive documents with strict access controls and encryption protocols. To maintain the highest quality standards, we require a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to oversee testing and support automation.
Role: Quality Assurance Engineer Estimation (25 hrs/week)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure software reliability and performance.
Conduct functional, regression, and security testing for the document storage system.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
Collaborate with the operations manager to validate system integrity.
Perform API testing and validate encryption protocols.
Maintain and improve test automation frameworks.
Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues in pre-production and production environments.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in software testing.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript for test automation.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
Understanding of security testing principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in testing secure document storage systems or similar applications.
Knowledge of encryption standards and authentication mechanisms.
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the system's reliability and security, supporting automated testing, and providing continuous improvements in the testing process.
