Need a special rebate system created for Magento Software that we are using for our current website.
We have two customer groups - 'Business' and 'Personal'. The programme we want is ONLY for our Business customers group. Multiple customers in this group should be able to team up.
First requirement is that any business customer should be able to create/start a team. That business customer can name his team and ask other business customers to join his team.
Each product will have some points (varying between 0 to 10 points). We should be able to determine points for any product. This will be our decision NOT based on dollar value.
Next, on the basis of purchasing every team will have their levels starting from Bronze(100 points per quarter purchase), Silver (200 points per quarter purchase), Gold (300 points per quarter purchase), Platinum (400 points per quarter purchase) and Diamond (500 points per quarter purchase). We should be able to change the number of points for every level eg. we can change bronze level to 500 points instead of 100 and so on for other levels.
Now the creator of the team will get a certain rebate for each point earned by him or his team members throughout the quarter (3 months). Team member will also get the rebate for the points earned by himself only. eg. There is team XYZ and this team is on the bronze level. In this level A is the team creator and B, C, D, E are the team members. Each member including A has earned 20 points each (its not necessary to earn equal amount of points. Some members could have earned only 10 points and some could have earned 30). Rebate for Bronze level is $10 per point and for the creator of the team rebate is extra $1 per point. So A, B, C, D & E - all will get $200 each rebate but being a team leader/creator A will also get another $100 of the rebate (i.e. total points earned by the whole team) as well as $200 for his own points. So team creator will in total get $300.
If any team earns more points and enters the higher level then rebates per point will also go higher. eg. on silver level member rebate will be $20 per point and team leader's rebate will be additional $2 per point. And on Gold level, member rebate will be $30 per point and team leader rebate will be additional $3 per point .... and so on.
Rebates will be finalized at the end of every quarter (3 months). Every month system should send an email to all the members telling their status that how far away their team is from the next level. End of every quarter they will get the statement.
Each member should be able to see three things on a graph that where about his group is placed and how far away they are from the next level. And also so far how much rebate is pending to be paid to him as of that day since the payment of last rebate. Any member SHOULD NOT be able to see other members' rebate or the purchasing level .. NOT even the team leader.
We should have full control on each segment to decide/change the levels of rebates for the members and leaders i.e. number of points that decide the level and the dollar ($) rebate on each level. We should also be able to manually remove certain number of points from any member and it should be reduced by itself in team because we may need to do it in case of order cancellation or returns.
