I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a web-based service dedicated to customisable children's storybooks. Below are the key requirements and considerations:
- **Character Customization:** The project demands advanced character customisation abilities through a database of options (supplied by illustrator). This includes everything from facial features to clothing options. The system should be user-friendly, allowing children and parents to create unique characters easily.
- **Book Template Management:** The service should provide a library of book templates, where users can add their customised characters seamlessly and view the custom books in real time.
- **User Login:** The platform requires a user login system. This is to save created characters, manage purchases and track orders.
- **Payment Processing:** The service should support Credit/Debit Cards and Afterpay for book purchases. A smooth, secure payment gateway is crucial to ensure a seamless user experience.
- **Printing Partner Integration:** The finalised books will be printed and delivered to customers by a global printing company. The system should be able to seamlessly integrate with the partner's system to ensure efficient and reliable printing and delivery.
Ideal candidates should have experience in developing similar web services, particularly with focus on advanced character customisation and integration of payment gateways and external partners. They should also be able to seamlessly incorporate user management functionalities.
