Syndicate Web Application - Developer Requirements (Pilot Phase)
1. User Interface: Minimalistic, mobile-friendly design for browsing and ordering eggs. Use reusable UI templates to save on design costs.
2. Ordering System: Simple cart and checkout with cash on delivery as the payment option. Send order confirmations via email and SMS using Twilio/SendGrid.
3. Delivery Management: Basic system to track orders within a 10-km radius. Partner with third-party delivery services (e.g., Pathao or Foodpanda).
4. Admin Dashboard: Basic dashboard for managing products, tracking orders, and customer information. Manual order management during the pilot.
5. Facebook Integration: Set up Facebook product catalog and Messenger for customer queries and order placement.
6. Customer Support: Use Facebook Messenger for live customer support.
7. Tech Stack:
Frontend: React.js
Backend: Node.js with [login to view URL]
Database: MongoDB or MySQL
Hosting: AWS or DigitalOcean
Note: No farmer integration for the backend during the pilot phase. Build with a modular architecture for future scalability.
