Job Title: Maximo Support Specialist (Installation & Integration Focus) We are seeking a skilled Maximo Support Specialist to assist with the installation, configuration, and integration of IBM Maximo into our infrastructure. This role requires both strong Maximo expertise and a solid background in IT infrastructure, including Red Hat OpenShift and Linux systems. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the installation and setup of IBM Maximo, ensuring the system is tailored to our infrastructure requirements. • Configure a thin-slice Maximo installation that can integrate seamlessly with a SCADA system for efficient data exchange and operational management. • Provide ongoing technical support to ensure the Maximo system operates efficiently and meets business requirements. • Troubleshoot system errors and performance issues related to Maximo and its integration with other systems. • Work with Red Hat OpenShift and Linux environments as part of the broader IT landscape supporting Maximo and its related components. • Assist with any customization needs, including workflows, escalations, and automation scripts. • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Maximo is effectively integrated with current business processes. • Support additional tasks related to Maximo configuration, including system updates, patches, and integrations as needed. Required Experience & Skills: • 3-5+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo in a support, admin, or development role. • Proven experience in installing and configuring Maximo in various environments. • Strong understanding of system integration, including experience integrating Maximo with other systems (e.g., ERP, SCADA, custom in-house systems). • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Linux environments, including installation, configuration, and support. • Familiarity with relational databases and Maximo data structures to enable smooth data exchange. • Proficient in SQL, scripting, and workflows within Maximo. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and provide responsive support across multiple business areas. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with IT, engineering, and management teams. Preferred Qualifications: • Hands-on experience with Maximo integrations into custom platforms • Familiarity with Maximo Anywhere or mobile configurations. • Experience with cloud-based or containerized Maximo deployments (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, Docker). • Maximo Certification (Admin or Developer) is a plus.
