Talent Scout for Freelancing Portals

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Scout to identify and onboard top rising talents across various freelancing platforms, including Upwork, Freelancer, Contra, and others. The ideal candidate will focus on finding newly joined but highly promising freelancers who offer exceptional skills at competitive rates. This role is crucial to ensuring our business collaborates with top-tier talent while staying within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Identification:
- Search for newly joined freelancers with high potential and growing profiles.
- Evaluate skills, ratings, reviews, and project portfolios to identify top rising talent.
2. Platform Research:
- Navigate and explore various freelancing portals (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer, Contra).
- Stay updated on trends and new talent categories across these platforms.
3. Talent Evaluation:
- Assess freelancers based on their skill sets, project outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.
- Shortlist candidates who meet specific business requirements and budget constraints.
4. Relationship Building:
- Initiate contact with shortlisted freelancers and build positive working relationships.
- Negotiate terms, rates, and project timelines when necessary.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain a database of identified talents, including their profiles, strengths, and rates.
- Provide regular reports on scouted talent and recommendations for hiring.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of freelancing platforms (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer, Contra).
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or freelancing.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to evaluate and identify high-potential talent.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:

- Experience in managing freelance teams or projects.
