Project Proposal: Data Cross-Matching and Updating Project Title: Data Cross-Matching and Cleaning with ID4me and Pricefinder Project Start Date: [11/4] Project Duration: [ 3 weeks] Project Overview The purpose of this project is to update and clean an existing dataset that is currently outdated. Using ID4me and Pricefinder and Excel Spreadsheet, I require a data specialist to cross-match data entries and update incorrect or outdated information, then re-enter the correct numbers into the Excel spreadsheet. This will ensure that the dataset is current, accurate, and relevant for ongoing and future use. Project Objectives Cross-Match Data Verify and cross-reference each data point within the dataset using ID4me and Pricefinder to identify outdated or incorrect entries labeled (red or anything that is blank or white) on the spreadsheet. Data Cleaning Remove inaccuracies, duplicate entries, and irrelevant data. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all entries by correcting discrepancies. Update and Re-enter Data Re-enter new or corrected data into the Excel spreadsheet provided, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected. Scope of Work Data Review and Familiarization Review the current datasheet and understand data requirements. Familiarize with ID4me and Pricefinder and Microsoft Excel to ensure efficient data matching. Data Cross-Matching and Validation Access and cross-match each entry using ID4me and Pricefinder to validate accuracy. Identify and mark any discrepancies in outdated or incorrect entries. Data Cleaning and Updating Remove or replace outdated and inaccurate information. Enter the verified and updated data points back into the Excel spreadsheet. Quality Control and Final Review Conduct a final review of the cleaned datasheet. Ensure all data entries meet quality standards and are accurately reflected in the final output. Skills Required Proficiency in data entry and data cleaning. Familiarity with ID4me and Pricefinder and Microsoft Excel platforms for accurate cross-matching. Advanced knowledge of Excel for data entry and management. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Deliverables Updated Excel Spreadsheet: A fully cleaned and updated dataset with all incorrect or outdated information replaced and new data verified. Data Quality Report: A brief report summarizing the changes made, any challenges encountered, and verification of the final data accuracy. Timeline and Milestones Week 1: Familiarization and data cross-matching initiation. Week 2: Data cleaning, validation, and entry of updated data. Week 3: Quality control, final review, and project completion. Budget The budget for this project will be based on an flat completion rate of $500. This will cover the time required for data matching, entry, and quality control. Job will be paid once i have reviewed finally and can see a change in the data, if reviewed and percentage of data is similar then the job will not be paid out. Additional Notes Access to ID4me and Pricefinder will be provided and a copy of the Excel Spreadsheet. Bonus can be paid for faster completion and also repeat business to the right candidate. The updated Excel spreadsheet can follow standard formatting practices. Please provide progress updates every day. Please update a shared document daily with progress.
