Digital Development Project of the Quebec Long COVID Association
Hello,
We are a small organization that supports individuals affected by Long COVID in Quebec, Canada. Despite having a limited budget, we have numerous ambitious ideas. Our goal is to develop a digital ecosystem that allows us to grow, heal, and ensure the financial sustainability of our mission.

Step 1: Improving the Existing Website
Our current website, while respecting our visual identity (logo, colors, and images), is not functional. Moreover, its overly dynamic design does not reflect the soothing essence of our mission. We aim to create a calmer and more welcoming site. Here are examples of visuals we like:

Goals for this step:
1. Make the website more user-friendly and functional.
2. Integrate a content management system (CMS) to allow our team to easily publish articles, blogs, and social media content.
3. Add three buttons linking to:
o The platform for managing members, volunteers, and donors (Zeffy).
o A section for becoming a member.
o A section for making a donation.
4. Ensure the website complies with accessibility standards (WCAG) to accommodate users with physical or cognitive limitations.
5. Add a section to highlight our partners or sponsors.
6. Include a clear contact form to allow users to easily ask questions or request assistance.

Step 2: Creating a Member Portal
The member portal would offer exclusive access with secure authentication (registration, login, password reset, and two-factor authentication).
Main Features:
• Documents and resources: Downloadable files, guides, or videos.
• Customer support: Live chat and chatbot.
• Community interaction: Forums, discussion groups, and comments.
• Social meeting section: Integration of software like Dolphin or pH7Builder to organize virtual or real-life meetings, aiming to combat isolation.
• Thematic sections with easy content addition:
o Recipe book
o Podcasts
o Educational capsules
o Information and documents
• Reviews or testimonials: A section where members or beneficiaries can share their experiences to strengthen credibility and impact.
• Survey and questionnaire section: Space for submitting surveys and forms.

• A calming design that inspires serenity, aligned with our visual identity.

To optimize costs, we plan to integrate the application’s features directly into the web portal. The goal is to create a tool similar to Long COVID Companion: [login to view URL]

• Voice journal and medical journal.
• Monitoring of physical and intellectual activities.
• Downloadable PDF reports to share with healthcare professionals.
• Access to validated information on Long COVID and care networks.

• Storage on secure servers.
• Data anonymization to contribute to Long COVID research.
