Growing up in Brisbane, Australia, Ashley's love of fresh fruit platters was rivalled only by her love of words. Never a doubt in mind, Ashley studied a dual Bachelor of Journalism and Communication with a focus on Public Relations at The University of Queensland. She fostered her love of storytelling in numerous internships including Channel Nine, ABC, Ipswich News, The Red Republic, Graphic Publishing, and MBFF. It wasn't until partnering with jewellery startup Closet Chronicles that Ashley found her feet in content creation. Finding a voice for a brand, and encouraging that tone to ripple through all aspects of the business, was a challenge she took head-on, with guns blazing. Having graduated in 2015, Ashley now curates content for lifestyle brand UQ Sport by day, and not-so-slowly eats her way across Brisbane by night.
