Contest Brief

We have already developed ChaiGuard as a fully functional, 3D-printed product, and now we are looking to take it to the next level with a sleek, professional, and mass-producible design for injection molding.

About ChaiGuard:
ChaiGuard is an innovative anti-spill device designed for chai lovers! It automatically detects boiling chai and prevents overflows while also alerting the user with a buzzer.

How ChaiGuard Works:
✔ Universal Fit Design – Can be attached to almost any container with its adjustable clamp.
✔ Smart Chai Detection – Equipped with stainless steel chai sensors (probes) that detect the liquid level.
✔ Automatic Airflow Control – When chai reaches the probes, ChaiGuard activates a fan to cool the brew and prevent overflow.
✔ Buzzer Alert – If the chai rises too high, the buzzer alerts the user immediately.
✔ Rechargeable Battery – Powered by a 3.7V Li-ion battery with a USB charging port for easy recharging.
✔ On/Off Button – Allows the user to control the device as needed.
