I'm looking for a skilled WordPress designer who can create and set up a professional, premium WordPress theme-based blog/website for me. The blogsite is called Vibrant Ager, which focuses on helping people in their 50s and above age vibrantly. The website will serve as a blog-style platform
featuring articles, stories, and resources.
At the moment, the website is live at www.vibrantager.com.
I designed this myself but would like it changed according to the Project Description here.
Key Requirements:
- Install and customize a specific premium WordPress theme (I'll provide the theme)
- Implement an email subscription feature to allow readers to subscribe to updates
- Set up a comment section to encourage reader engagement
- Ensure the overall design is user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and responsive across devices
- Integrate SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility.
Scope of Work
1. Website Design & Structure:
• Use the WordPress theme “Stories”, which I have already purchased from Envato Market.
• Address and resolve the issue during installation that says, “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the [login to view URL] stylesheet.”
• Incorporate sections for: Vitality, Engagement, Relationships, Vigor, Enrichment, Retirement & Money.
• Standard pages: FAQ, Contact Us, About
• Ensure an intuitive, user-friendly layout aligned with the “Stories” theme’s storytelling aesthetic.
2. Blog Functionality:
• The website must allow me to easily add new blog posts, articles, and stories after the setup is complete.
• Include categories and tags for organization and search functionality.
3. Customization:
• Customize the theme to match the Vibrant Ager brand and vision, including colors, fonts, and layout adjustments as needed.
• Optimize the design for responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
4. Technical Setup:
• Ensure all necessary plugins are installed and configured (e.g., SEO, security, and caching plugins).
• Set up navigation menus, contact forms, and essential widgets.
• Resolve any theme-related technical issues during the setup.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
· Proven experience in WordPress blog design
· Strong understanding of premium WordPress themes
· Excellent skills in customizing WordPress features
· Good knowledge of implementing email subscription and comment features
· Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs
Deliverables
· Based on all the information above, the deliverable is a fully functional, visually appealing WordPress website ready for me to begin adding content.
· The website must be fully set up and functional within five days of project commencement.
· I am not a web developer or programmer and have only recently started learning about WordPress, so clear communication and a simple, user-friendly setup are essential.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
• I will provide access to the WordPress dashboard for development purposes.
• Once the website is completed, it must be fully transferred to me.
• I shall own the website and all intellectual property used in its creation, including design elements, content, and configurations, completely.
Additional Notes
• I will provide the “Stories” theme files and access to my WordPress installation.
• I have tried installing other themes, but the same error regarding the missing [login to view URL] stylesheet occurs, which will need to be addressed.
• I am not looking for ongoing content management; I just need the site created and set up.
