API Server User Authentication Enhancement

I'm seeking a skilled developer to improve on my existing API server. The goal is to enhance security and streamline the user experience.
We already have a running code which has user and token management functionality, but it currently does not include password following enhancement are required in it.
1. Need to Include password in the token. Here is the high level features coming in my mind, but need to make sure we are following the best standard process followed by industry for password and token management.
a. Whenever a user is registered also create a default password and return it in the response and also save it in the backend.
b. Provide an API to change the passwords it will take current password for authentication and new password.
c. Provide an API for reset password.
d. Update token generation API to also validate the password provided by user before generating the token
2. Currently everything is running under one VM ubuntu 22.04 need to run MongoDB and API server (Kong and node) in two separate Ubuntu 22.04 VMs instead of one VM
