Laravel to WordPress Plugin Conversion -- plus further development down the road

I'm seeking an experienced developer to convert a Laravel app into a WordPress plugin. I worked with a developer on this Laravel app a few years ago, but the developer disappeared and it was never completed. I have since decided that Laravel is just too complicated for me to want to continue with it. I would prefer to convert this to a custom WordPress plugin first and then continue development past that point.
The general gist of the app is sport results, with integration of photos galleries for each result. This part of the project is mostly complete but still requires refining and bug fixes -- we were at that stage when the developer disappeared. I shelved the project for a bit after that and I can't remember exactly which bugs existed. It will take a bit of use for my to jog my memory and get back up to speed.
I have the full Laravel code plus mySQL database code.
Key Requirements:
- Conversion of custom forms from Laravel to a custom-coded interface in WordPress.
- Integration of sport database management features into the plugin.
- Comprehensive understanding of user management and e-commerce features, although these are not part of the current conversion, may be needed for future enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience with both Laravel and WordPress.
- Strong skills in custom WordPress plugin development.
- Ability to create intricate custom-coded forms.
The project may lead to further development tasks, hence a good understanding of potential e-commerce and user management features is beneficial. If you have a knack for creating user-friendly interfaces and a keen understanding of sports database management, I would love to hear from you.
I am not going to accept some sort of super quick bid. If you can bid in 30 seconds, then you didn't really read this project. I'm looking for a long term developer relationship to take this project to launch, I'm not looking for someone to work on this briefly and move on. I want to work with the actual developer who will be writing the code, not a project manager at some development agency. I have some coding experience. In theory this would be best as an hourly project but I have had terrible experiences with doing that before. I am not willing to do it again until I trust the developer. So I will do fixed price for now but I'll consider hourly if you seem trustworthy.
