Design Timeless Logo for Humanitarian Movement

I'm seeking a logo that embodies a classic and timeless style, yet with a modern twist. The logo should be a combination of both text and an icon or symbol. Key Requirements: - A sleek, sophisticated design approach - Mastery in creating a balanced text-icon logo - Proficiency in working with a complementary color scheme Background to Hub for Humanity Genocides are happening in Gaza and Sudan. War crimes are being committed in Ukraine. Many progressive and concerned citizens want to do more, but don’t know what or how, and fear judgement from their communities. Many feel despair at the lack of government action, overwhelmed to paralysis, dissonance at their lack of action, and wish to find ways to protest their government’s role in the genocide. Citizens have several important roles in facilitating the change needed to end the genocide. While many have donated funds to the front line humanitarian aid efforts, more is needed to change the narrative, and end the systems that fuel the need for humanitarian aid. A grassroots movement, which mainstreams support for these affected places, can act as a lever to apply pressure on business and government. While the movement is building, and many important actions are being taken successfully - from protests, to divestment, to boycott, to arms blockades, for the most powerful decision makers to take notice, we must take the movement from the fringe to the mainstream. This movement will require ordinary, non-activist people across the UK, to speak up and take actions, however small. The workplace is one community where people experience barriers to speaking out, such as: > Fear of professional recrimination for speaking up or ‘bringing politics into the workplace’ - e.g. socially excluded at work, not prioritised for promotion, > Fear of being professionally penalised for challenging company practices (e.g. investments) > Fear of being socially perceived as a troublemaker - by the in group and out group > Fear of being perceived as anti-semitic in the case of Gaza > Fear of being judged as non-expert, and out of their depth on a perceived complex subject matter > Lack of awareness and understanding of the range of actions that can be taken at work and elsewhere, particularly those that are ‘less risky’ > Lack of support in speaking out, and lack of support for others who attempt it Our idea We propose to build an online resource hub of actions that individuals can take to support the movement to end the genocide, the Hub for Humanity. The Hub could include: > Resources - easy to digest history of the conflict (verified, unbiased) > Messaging and framing - how to talk about the issues with different audiences, stakeholders, colleagues > Watchouts and workarounds > Tiered actions that individuals can take
