• Description
We are building our internal analytics portal.
The portal is supposed to be at https://analytics.sorsmarkets.com. It will be written with ASP.Net C#.
There are the following requirements:
1. Secure access: Only people with a particular certificate / IP / within the intranet can access the portal.
2. Login: The user has to log in with two-factor authentication.
3. Admin permission: Assume there are three static pages: pages 1, 2, 3. The user can subscribe to a particular page, and the admin can approve and set permission for user A to see only specific pages.
4. The admin can grant or revoke user access.
5. Spreadsheet: The user can create an unlimited number of spreadsheets and load them onto the portal. We are considering Devexpress, although we are still determining if it can provide the array function (below). The portal allows the user(s) to play with their spreadsheet. Each spreadsheet can have multiple tabs.
6. You are welcome to use alternative Spreadsheet control. Just discuss it with us. If you need additional resources, ask.
7. The spreadsheet can be saved on the server side and read or written by a single user or the users within a group. Hence, there is also a user permission page.
8. The spreadsheet page has a customised function HelloWorld which loads the result from a REST API.
9. The user can specify the location of the above array on the UI. In Excel, the array is created typically using Control+Shift+Enter. We do accept alternatives.
10. The admin can kill a user session with a kill switch. The admin can also block certain IPs or allow whitelisted users to use the portal.
11. Login access log for the admin to view. The admin can see any login success/failure.
You don’t need to make the page pretty. You only focus on the functionality.
You will need to show us briefly how you tackle the program. The task will be awarded to someone who can come up with the solution and has similar experience working on similar tasks.
• Delivery
We need the source code, and your program will be integrated into a much larger program. You will get paid once all the work is done and the project is successfully delivered, i.e., the source code and portal are running.
• Platform
Your code has to work on Windows/Visual Studio.
• Workplace
You will be working online remotely.
• Experience
Please show us your detailed related work experience and portfolio.
• IP
The intellectual property, including the source code, belongs to Sors Markets Ltd.
• Interview
We may interview you to see if you can work on the project.
• Demo
We will need to do a demo on Freelancer. I will not be available between 31 August and 12 September.
