Contest Brief

Overview:
We’re looking for two distinct logos to represent our wedding. The event will take place in a 1920s ballroom with a Great Gatsby-inspired theme, emphasizing elegance, timelessness, and sophistication. Each logo will have its own purpose: one for general use (e.g., invitations, signage) and the other for specialty applications (e.g., wax seals, embossing, and edible garnishes).

Logo 1: Full Last Name Logo
Text: The full last name: "Smith"
Style: Modern, classic, and contemporary. Think clean and sleek with a timeless appeal.
Font Preferences: Serif or sans-serif fonts with bold, symmetrical lines. Avoid cursive or overly decorative styles.
Color Palette: Neutral tones (e.g., black, white, gold) for versatility.
Usage: To be used on wedding stationery (e.g., invitations, menus, programs) and signage.

Logo 2: Monogram Logo
Text: Incorporate the initials: C (Groom), M (Bride), and S (Last Name)
Style:
Must exude an "old money" and regal feel.
Circular design to align with its intended use for wax seals, embossing, and edible cocktail garnishes.
Should have a balance of boldness and intricacy, similar to vintage crest designs.
Inspiration:
Think Great Gatsby and Art Deco elements—symmetry, ornate yet refined details, and luxurious vibes.
Subtle flourishes, geometric shapes, or crown-like motifs can be considered, but nothing overly busy.
Color Palette: Gold as the primary color with black or white accents, ensuring it stands out when used as a stamp or embossing.
Additional Notes:

Both logos should complement each other stylistically while serving distinct purposes.
The venue's 1920s ballroom ambiance should inspire the overall aesthetic.
Please provide vector files for scalability and high-quality usage across different mediums.
Deliver mockups of how the logos would look in real applications, such as a wax seal for the monogram or signage with the full last name logo.
