Contest Brief

My name is Sascha Wright, and my wife and I will be opening an equestrian business in a few months. We are building the final infrastructure (stables, equestrian arena etc.) required for the business at the present time and expect to launch with 4 – 6 months.

Over the coming months I will be designing and building our website using Wix but first need to have our brand and logo developed.

The business name is Mountain View Equestrian Centre and we will provide full agistment (livery) services for customer who own horses but do not have the land or facilities to keep them and my wife will teach/coach new riders, experienced riders who wish to improve aspects of their riding and she will also teach people who used to ride and wish to return to the hobby/sport.

The business is called Mountain View Equestrian Centre because our beautiful property in Southeast Queensland is overlooked by Mount Beerwah which is the largest mountain in the Glasshouse Mountains range here in SE QLD.

We would like our logo to incorporate the outline of Mount Beerwah and include equine artwork that reflects our business and its services. We like minimalist line style drawings with some colour rather than just monochrome.

As well as the company logo we will need the following:
• Colour palette
• Typography
• Iconography
• Social Media kits (FB and Insta)
• Email signature
• Stationary design
• Profile picture logos
• Multiple file formats such vector, transparent and source files

I am looking for a creative individual that can hand draw a simple and sophisticated, modern and simple (not overly fussy or cluttered) logo and brand imagery. The logo must incorporate a hand drawn outline of Mount Beerwah and equine artwork (hand drawn) that represents our services.

All submissions must be an original creation of the person responding to the brief.

I am looking for a warm and muted colour palette (maximum 2 or 3 colours) that reflects the countryside we are surrounded by in South East Queensland (google examples by looking at images of the Glasshouse Mountains and surrounding areas). The area our business is in is the Australian sub-tropical area of South East Queensland so it is important the colour palette represents this and county activities in general.

The logo should have variants (and file types and sizes) that can be used on our website, stationary and on social media (profile pic, banners etc). The colour palette should be specified with the hex values for each colour in the palette. I am are also looking for social media kits that include items such as customisable (by me) Instagram story banners and Instagram post banners and equivalents for FB.

Other things to be aware of:

I do not want anything AI generated or constructed from open source or stock imagery.
I do not want anything that is not original and hand drawn by a creative and talented artist who is specifically responding to my brief.
The logo MUST contain a hand drawn outline of Mount Beerwah - No other mountain or generic mountain images.
No black and white please.
Horse images/artwork must look natural and please no excessive manes that make the horse look like it has come fresh from the beauty salon.
It needs to be simple yet professional, modern and sophisticated.
Please no submissions that are representations of shop/office signs or gallery items with artificial lighting.
Please ensure your submissions include examples of the colour palette, social media logo images, social media kits, details of the typography etc.
Please do not simply submit multiple versions of the same logo with varying colour palettes or black and white etc. Please think about the brief and make a submission that meets it rather pepper me with quantity of submissions.
Submissions should include social media logos (to be used a links to our social media pages), these should be coloured and themed to your creative design.
No photographs to be included.
Please ensure all text is in English and spelled correctly.
The terms Mount Beerwah and Glasshouse Mountains must not be included.
Consider including our services as text withe the company name
