Job Title: Animated Video Editor for Mental Health YouTube Channel
Job Overview:
I am looking for a creative and detail-oriented Animated Video Editor to join our team for a growing YouTube channel focused on mental health awareness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, an eye for simple yet engaging animations, and a commitment to producing content that helps viewers understand and improve their mental well-being. As the video editor, you will be responsible for following a script.
Key Responsibilities:
• Animate and Edit Videos: Create simple, visually appealing animations and edit footage to create informative, easy-to-understand content about mental health.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with the content creator to ensure the messaging is clear, engaging, and sensitive to mental health topics.
• Maintain Consistent Visual Style: Follow established branding guidelines and ensure all animations and edits align with the channel's aesthetic and tone.
• Video Enhancements: Add graphics, effects, and music to enhance the storytelling and ensure a professional, polished final product.
• Optimize Content for YouTube: Edit videos to fit YouTube best practices, including optimizing video length, pacing, and SEO (titles, descriptions, tags).
• Stay on Trend: Keep up to date with animation and video editing trends to keep content fresh and appealing to our audience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency in animation software (such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar tools) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong understanding of video production processes, from pre-production to final export.
• Ability to create simple, clean, and engaging animations that communicate ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with YouTube’s video optimization best practices (SEO, thumbnail design, etc.).
• A passion for mental health advocacy and the ability to present sensitive topics in a respectful and empathetic manner.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
