We're in need of a developer who can create a video editing api where we can make a POST request to a Lambda function and it will create a video file and save the output to S3 bucket. This involves using the Editly package, constructing a Docker container, and subsequently uploading it to AWS ECR. The Editly package will take care of video creation, you don't need to code anything for it. You just need to package it inside Docker container and make it work with Lambda. - To successfully carry out this project, you'll need to make sure the Docker container is able to run the latest version of Node.js. - Additional requirements include the integration of a specific package, namely: [login to view URL], ensuring it is functioning properly. - Ffmpeg will need to be incorporated into the environment, as well as any other libraries that the editly package requires. - We already have a Lambda function created on AWS, as well as the function url. But it's up to the developer to test and make it runs with the newly created Docker container. - Save generated video output in S3 bucket (exact path and filename will be passed to you in POST request) - POST request payload should include everything in Editly package spec as well as path where video should be saved in S3. - Save all constant variables such as bucket name, region, aws access key, etc to Lambda environment variables. - Developer should also include instructions on how to alter Docker container code, if we want to change it in future. In detail, skills and experience required include: - Docker: Knowledgeable in the creation and management of containers. - AWS ECR: Proven experience in dealing with Amazon's ECR is key. - Node.js: Familiarity with Node.js is paramount. - ffmpeg: Previous experience with ffmpeg will be beneficial.
