Full-Stack Developer to Upgrade Symfony 3.3, Complete [login to view URL] Conversion, and Optimize Website for High Performance
I’m seeking a highly skilled and efficient full-stack developer to modernize my existing website and complete an ongoing migration. The project involves upgrading our legacy tech stack, completing the frontend conversion from AngularJS to Vue.js, and optimizing the platform for high performance to support many concurrent users.
The ideal candidate should:
Be proficient in Symfony, Vue.js, PHP, and MySQL.
Have experience working with legacy systems and migrating/upgrading older frameworks.
You must be heavily using AI tools like ChatGPT o1 and sonnet 3.5 to accelerate development and ensure quality output (I will provide access to best LLMs if you need)
Be able to work independently and provide regular updates.
Provide clear documentation for all changes, work using my github repo, including migration steps, setup instructions, and code comments.
Proven track record of optimizing high-traffic websites.
Familiarity with database optimization techniques (indexes, partitioning, query optimization).
Current Stack:
Backend: Symfony 3.3 (PHP 7.1)
Frontend: Partially migrated from AngularJS to Vue.js
Database: MySQL 5.7
Other Tools: Doctrine ORM, Sonata, FOSUserBundle, AWS integrations
You should be comfortable with ubuntu and comfortable with installing packages, upgrading php/mysql etc over the command prompt.
I want to complete the angular to vuejs, Symfony 3.3 to Symfony 6.x, improve caching system (redis?),
Please provide examples of previous work on similar projects (e.g., Symfony upgrades, Vue.js migrations, high-performance websites).
Include a brief explanation of how you plan to use ChatGPT/claude/deepseek or other tools to speed up development.
Start your proposal with the word “SYMFONY-VUE” so I know you’ve read the entire description.
