Project Title: ASP.NET Web Ajax to .NET Core Conversion Pilot Using Blazor and Telerik
Project Description:
seeking an experienced .NET developer to help pilot a modernized version of our existing ASP.NET Web AJAX application.
use Blazor front-end framework, .Net Core, Telerik for UI widgets, and Google Authentication for user login.
The goal is to establish and deploy a working and functional baseline to demonstrates key features such as login, navigation, dropdowns, button actions, and data binding to grids and charts.
Scope of Work
1. Google Authentication
Create a login page that authenticates users against Google.
Verify the authenticated user is valid based on predefined criteria.
Redirect authenticated users to a home page.
2. Home Page with Reusable Menu
Develop a blazor home page with a Telerik menu as the navigation control.
The menu should be reusable across multiple pages.
Clicking a menu item navigates to the corresponding page.
Add a few tables and telerik controls (samples)
3. Page with a control containing Dropdowns and Button Action. We want to use this control on 2 pages.
Create a Blazor page containing:
Multiple Telerik dropdowns for user input.
A button that retrieves the selected values from the dropdowns.
4. Stored Procedure Execution
Implement logic to execute a stored procedure based on the selected dropdown values.
The stored procedure may return one or more tables as results.
5. Data Binding to Telerik Grid and Chart
2. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
Display the stored procedure results by:
Binding the data to a Telerik grid.
Visualizing the data in a Telerik chart.
Technical Requirements
Front-End: Blazor with Telerik UI components.
Back-End: .NET Core (latest version).
Authentication: Google.
Database: SQL Server for stored procedures.
Development Standards: Clean code, reusable components, and adherence to best practices.
Deliverables
Fully functional pilot application with the described features.
Clear documentation on:
Authentication setup and configuration.
Reusable components like the menu.
Interaction with stored procedures and data binding.
Deployment-ready codebase for future expansion.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience with Blazor and Telerik UI for Blazor.
Proven expertise in .NET Core and ASP.NET migrations.
Familiarity with Google OAuth integration.
Knowledge of working with SQL Server stored procedures and data binding.
Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
The expected timeline for this project is 4-6 weeks. Emphasize optimizing the performance and responsiveness of the application.
