Also to be able to add new values for select GRBL settings like the $101 settings and it send it to the card. Also possibly read from the device manager for the CH340 USB driver and report back the COM Port the driver is using. Nice clean interface with place for company Logo. For a project I need to customize a homing sequence of the last GRBL version. By default, GRBL can only do X, Y, Z or together homing sequence. I have only two axis in my project. X and Y Here I need to do the following sequence for homing: a) G1 X6.0 with Y stepper axis disable (no holding or enable pin to false) b) $HX (X axis homing) still with Y stepper axis disable c) $HY (Y axis homing) X axis stepper hold (enable to true) it is not in place of the normal homing from GRBL but a add-on where it is possible to configure it through the config file. the 6.0 need to be configurable and the rotation axis direction must be parametrable through the standard homing mask parametre

This is a program running as an interface over LinuxCNC. Most of the program is functional and machine control methods have been sorted. The main reason for posting this is that the current programmer, who is a friend of mine has limited time to finish the project. He is still involved with limited time. Most of what I am currently looking to complete are interface related items, and bug/crash fixing that is more concerned for general software. The interface is designed using GTK2 and the majority of it written in Python. Strong Linux knowledge and Python skills are a requirement as well as the abillity to consider the real-time requirements of machine control, mostly to insure that interface work does not violate these requirements.
