Contest Brief

I'm seeking a talented graphic designer who can create a stunning, photorealistic book cover for my personalized journal about transformation and growth. The cover should symbolize the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly, reflecting the themes of the journal in a classy and timeless manner. This design should not only be visually striking but also evoke a sense of beauty and drama.

The second stage of the project will be graying out everything except one element of the metamorphism as there are four journals in the set. So the first journal would have a gray background, color caterpillar, gray chrysalis; while the next would be gray background, gray caterpillar but color chrysalis. Example attached of a draft that won’t work do to it being more on the ‘cute’ side when we’re looking for striking designs that will appeal to women 40+ and give an air of luxury, abstract, beauty.

Potential freelancers should have:

- Extensive experience in photorealistic design
- Ability to create emotionally resonant visuals
- Strong understanding of symbolism and themes in design
