As a Certified SolidWorks Professional with 4 years of experience working with all aspects of the software suite, I can work with your brass board concepts and sketches -- following your specifications and guidelines -- turning them into well-organized, functional CAD models and parts drawings that can be easily prototyped and/or manufactured. My particular skill set is engineering-minded, and I am passionate about establishing productive working relationships with my customers. Building the best possible models is my primary objective. Enjoying the creative process, along the way, is simply a bonus!
I am sensitive to U.S. DoD ITAR requirements and have experience working with DARPA and Army contractors.
Fantastic experience! This is our third project with Justin and are lining of additional work. This project involved some additional engineering challenges for components with parts that will be fabricated and annealed for certain properties/characteristics. Once again, there were some design-on-the-fly aspects, including pen-and-paper drawings, modifications, etc. Freelancer makes project management straightforward, and this sets up for a great exchange of ideas with Justin. Solid dynamic!
Justin went above and beyond throughout the scope of the project. I had an idea and a drawing on a piece of paper and he brought it to actuality in 2D/3D. Justin reworked the design multiple times until it was perfect. Would hire again.
Repeat customer! We just completed our second project with Justin and had an equally fantastic experience. Justin's background allows him to make time-saving suggestions on model design and materials consideration, which will save us significantly on CNC fabrication costs. Again, there is a thoughtful process to his approach, tasking structure, and time management. Our "out-sourcing" experience feels more like a productive team, given the level of interaction. Only a 5.0 star rating.
Outstanding and professional...! This was our first project with Justin. We described and spec'd our initial project, and as we interacted with Justin, we saw where we could improve our SolidWorks models ahead of fabrication. Increasing the scope of work was smooth, schedules were maintained or extended where we added complexity. We asked for his design input throughout the process, and Justin provided exceptional suggestions. He understands the design/engineering/fabrication process...!
