Project Overview:
I'm seeking an experienced Web Developer to design and develop a specialized eCommerce website focused on selling electronics and gadgets. The site needs to be user-centric, secure, and fully responsive across all devices.
Key Requirements:
- Platform: The website must be built using WordPress with WooCommerce integration for ease of content management and backend operations.
No Shopify: This project is specifically for WordPress/WooCommerce to ensure flexibility in customization and management.
- Design:
Single Landing Page: The main focus will be an engaging, interactive scrolling landing page that introduces the brand and highlights key products. For inspiration:
Dogstudio ([login to view URL]) - for its bold and interactive design elements.
Webflow ([login to view URL]) - for its smooth scrolling and minimalistic approach.
- Functionality:
Product Reviews and Ratings: Instead of allowing direct customer reviews on the website, we will feature a curated glimpse of reviews:
Reviews will be managed by us internally and then displayed on the product pages.
Include star ratings based on these curated reviews.
Display snippets of positive feedback and testimonials to build trust and highlight product quality.
No customer interaction for adding reviews; all reviews will be pre-approved and posted by the site administrators.
Checkout Page/Cart: Implementation of a clear, intuitive shopping cart and checkout process where customers can review their items, apply any promotions or discounts, select payment methods, and finalize their purchase.
- Pages:
We aim to start with up 6 pages, including:
Home/Landing Page (as described above)
Shop - Displaying products with filters for categories, price, brand, etc.
Product Details Page - For individual product listings with reviews, specifications, and purchase options.

Contact - Including a form, address, and contact details.
