I'm seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and develop a long-range RFID reader operating at 134.2kHz. The primary use of this RFID reader will be for tracking animals in outdoor environments.

Key Requirements:

- The RFID reader should have a typical range of 1 to 5 meters.

- It should be robust enough for outdoor use, capable of withstanding various weather conditions.

- It should be designed with animal tracking in mind, ensuring it can reliably detect RFID tags attached to animals at the specified range.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience in designing electrical devices, particularly RFID readers.

- Previous work in animal tracking technology would be a significant advantage.

- Excellent understanding of designing for outdoor, rugged use.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver a reliable, high-quality product.
