Job Description: Business Development and Marketing Specialist

We aim to provide a suite of tailored services and products for the construction of public and commercial aquarium exhibits and offer the essential products and services these aquariums need for ongoing operations. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead outbound prospecting, manage inbound marketing strategies, and identify new opportunities to help grow our business and achieve our vision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outbound Marketing & Prospecting:
• Research and identify prospective clients, including public aquariums, architects, and commercial establishments, through online tools and industry sources.
• Conduct cold calls and send cold emails to generate qualified leads.
• Input and maintain accurate prospect and client data in the CRM system.
• Develop relationships with architects and project managers to qualify and secure leads.
• Design and execute nurturing campaigns to engage potential clients via email.
2. Ongoing Relationship Engagement:
• Manage email marketing campaigns to maintain communication with prospects and existing clients.
• Build and foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and engagement.
3. Inbound Marketing Management:
• Collaborate with leadership to oversee and improve inbound marketing activities:
• SEO Campaigns: Work with specialists to improve organic visibility and rankings.
• PPC Campaigns: Optimize paid search campaigns for maximum ROI.
• Social Media Campaigns: Assist in creating and managing strategies to enhance brand awareness.
4. Market Research & Product Development:
• Identify and evaluate new product opportunities within the existing market.
• Conduct market research to explore and assess the profitability of new markets.
• Recommend and support the development of new services and products tailored to market needs.

Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Experience:
• 3+ years in outbound sales, marketing, or business development.
• Experience with CRM tools for lead management and data tracking.
• Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and email marketing platforms.
• Skills:
• Strong research and analytical abilities for lead qualification and market assessment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly for cold outreach and campaign creation.
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and social media.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
