Project Overview
The client is transitioning from QuickBooks Point of Sales Desktop to Dynamics 365 Commerce, with a focus on utilizing the Modern Point of Sale (MPOS) module. The migration involves setting up a single company entity with one retail location and ensuring seamless configuration and training for the client team.
The client has specified that no historical data (e.g., sales history, inventory counts, or customer balances) will be imported. However, the current inventory list and customer list from QuickBooks Point of Sales will need to be imported into D365 Commerce.

Consultant Scope of Work
1. Company Entity and Retail Location Setup
o Create and configure a single company entity in Dynamics 365 Commerce.
o Set up one retail location within the D365 Commerce environment.
2. Dynamics 365 Commerce Configuration
o Configure the core Dynamics 365 Commerce system to meet the client’s operational requirements.
o Ensure the system aligns with the needs of a single retail location.
3. User Setup
o Create and set up accounts for 4-5 administrative users with appropriate access levels and permissions.
4. POS Screen Configuration
o Design and configure the Point of Sale (POS) screen layout to enhance user experience.
o Tailor the interface to match the client’s operational flow.
5. Data Import
o Migrate the inventory list and customer list from QuickBooks Point of Sales Desktop into Dynamics 365 Commerce.
6. Testing
o Conduct thorough system testing to ensure all configurations and imports function as expected.
o Validate the POS system's performance and usability.
7. Training
o Provide training sessions for administrative users to ensure they are proficient in using the system.
o Cover key functionalities, including inventory management, sales operations, and basic troubleshooting.
8. Go-Live Support
o Offer support during the go-live phase to address any immediate issues.
o Ensure smooth transition and operational continuity.
