Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced freelancer to develop a comprehensive audit methodology to evaluate AI software for compliance with ethics and safety guidelines outlined in the European Union’s AI Act (AIEU Act). The methodology should provide a structured approach for assessing AI systems in terms of ethical standards, safety protocols, and risk management, aligning with the principles and requirements of the AIEU Act.
Responsibilities:
Develop an audit framework tailored to AI software, focusing on ethics and safety compliance.
Define key indicators and criteria for evaluating AI software’s adherence to ethical principles (such as fairness, transparency, and accountability) and safety requirements.
Outline assessment procedures for determining the system’s risk level and the appropriate mitigation strategies.
Provide a step-by-step guide for conducting audits, including preparation, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Design a checklist or scorecard for auditors to systematically review AI systems for compliance.
Include considerations for data privacy, bias prevention, and user protection, as stipulated in the AIEU Act.
Requirements:
Proven expertise in AI ethics, safety standards, and regulatory compliance, particularly in alignment with EU guidelines.
Strong background in AI/ML audit processes, risk assessment, and regulatory technology.
Knowledge of the AIEU Act and other relevant standards governing AI ethics and safety.
Excellent documentation skills for creating clear, actionable, and detailed methodologies.
Deliverables:
A complete audit methodology document, including procedures, criteria, checklists, and templates for conducting AI ethics and safety compliance audits.
