Key Accountability:
Experience of solution design experience of large e2e application
Collaborate and bring build/engineering teams to produce as per the design
Produce Architecture Designs and Diagrams
Perform hands-on POCs in conjunction with providing architectural solutions
Design and document Integration Spec
Design and produce API Specs
Manage Architecture Council approvals
Manage Business stakeholders to bring consensus on a proposed design
Must-Have Skills:
Strong knowledge of AWS and its data engineering-related services. Should have experience in building data lakes using S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, and related open-source products
Experience in leading Data Migration, Data Ingestion, and Data Lake Implementation projects
Good knowledge of Snowflake or any other cloud database
Good knowledge of data warehousing, Data modeling techniques
Strong SQL knowledge is a must
Strong knowledge of Python/Py Spark or Java programming language
Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience designing and building microservices using Spring Boot.
Expertise in RESTful API development and understanding of API design principles.
Understanding of database design and implementation using SQL databases, preferably Oracle.
Experience with testing frameworks, such as JUnit and Mockito, for unit and integration testing.
Strong understanding of software development principles, such as OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications.
Experience with developing applications for cloud platforms.
Experience with working in an Agile environment
Good to have:
Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GIT, etc.) and practices, continuous integration, and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of working with cloud-native applications, especially on AWS.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
