Project Title: Designer Needed for Research Lab and Personal Academic Websites

Description: I am a professor at the University of Florida in the Computer & Information Science & Engineering department, and I am looking to create two professional, clean, and modern websites: one for my research lab and one for my personal academic portfolio. The websites should follow best practices for academic websites, with user-friendly navigation and a responsive design that adapts well to both desktop and mobile devices.

Project Scope:

Research Lab Website
Homepage: Overview of the lab with key links and featured research.
Publications: Dynamic list with filtering and sorting functionality, including links to papers and citation info.
Projects: Detailed descriptions of ongoing and past projects, including team members, funding sources, and outcomes.
Students: Profiles of current lab members and alumni.
News & Events: Section for lab news and upcoming events.
Contact & Collaborations: Contact form, info on open positions, and collaboration opportunities.
Resources: Access to relevant lab resources (code repositories, datasets).
Personal Website
Bio: Detailed academic bio with a professional headshot.
Publications: List of personal publications with search and filter functionality.
News: Section for personal updates and upcoming events.
Courses Teaching: Information on current and past courses taught, with links to syllabi or resources.
CV: Downloadable CV in PDF format.
Contact Information: Contact details and inquiry form.
Design Style:

Clean, professional, and modern.
Consistent branding across both websites, but with slight variations to distinguish the lab and personal sites.
Responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Easy-to-navigate structure with minimal clutter, focusing on showcasing research and academic work.
Deliverables:

High-fidelity mockups for both websites.
Complete responsive design assets (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD files).
Design guidelines for future updates (fonts, color schemes, etc.).
Requirements:

Proven experience in designing academic or research websites.
Strong portfolio showcasing similar work.
