Fix Landing Page Scroll Issue
$10-30 USD
Paid on delivery
I've encountered a critical issue with my landing page. After users complete a HubSpot form on our lead capture page, they are redirected to our thank-you page where the scroll function is completely disabled. This issue is affecting users on both desktop and mobile.
When someone completes the Parents Start Here or Athletes Start Here at [login to view URL] a redirect to thank you occurs [login to view URL] the page when you visit the link directly works great and scrolls but when used as a result redirect from HubSpot and or leadpages is doesn't scroll?
Key Issues:
- Users are unable to scroll on the thank-you page at all post form submission.
- No recent changes have been made to this page or the lead capture page, aside from the usual design updates and new scripts.
- The issue seems to be persistent across all devices.
I have contacted both HubSpot and Leadpages support who have indicated that the issue seems to stem from the thank-you page itself.
Ideal candidates for this project should have:
- Experience with HubSpot and Leadpages.
- Strong web development skills to troubleshoot and fix the scroll issue.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to resolve this critical issue.
This project requires immediate attention, and I am looking for a professional who can deliver a quick resolution.
Here is what Leadpages support says:
Terrence here with Leadpages. I hope you're doing well!
I completely understand how frustrating it can be when you're caught between conflicting advice from HubSpot and your tech team, so thank you for reaching out—I’m here to clarify things for you!
After taking a look at your Pop-Up Page landing page, I can see that there doesn’t seem to be any native Leadpages elements causing issues with your HubSpot form. However, I did notice that you’ve embedded your form using our HTML widget.
Just to set your expectations, while we’re unable to provide direct support for third-party code or troubleshoot any related issues, I recommend reaching out to your code provider or reviewing their documentation—they should be able to guide you through the specifics of adjusting the code.
Since both the sign-up page and the thank-you page are opening without issues, it seems like you might need to adjust the code to ensure that after submission, the form redirects properly to the Thank You Page.
I know this may not be the ideal solution you were hoping for, but I hope it helps clarify things, Anthony. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other concerns or additional questions.
