Fortunately, I had already done Korean textbook material, which is actually the same as teaching material and I do that kind of translation at least every few month. It was most of the time either a translation of chapters from a history book or a language teaching book. I learned English for the first time in my first elementary school grade and afterwards during every school year until the end of high school. This qualifies me for having a C1 or C2 Level of English. I am now in the mid-20s and just finished my master’s degree in Korean Studies. This allows me to translate and of course just transcribe professionally Korean text to German or English. When it comes to my Korean skills, I must say, that I started to learn Korean since 2012 as a hobby and I started to learn Korean professionally in 2017 at University. During that time, I was introduced to transcribing Korean Speech to Script on a nearly daily basis. I also translated parts of Korean books for the purpose of studying them. Furthermore, outside the University, I already translated Korean Webtoons and worked in the field of secretary work and archive work in a Library. My Bachelors Degree in Korean Studies was fulfilled with an A- Degree (German 1,7) and a Master Degree with B (German 2,2) followed too.
