Hello, I am looking for an experienced iOS developer to migrate my Android app, Art & Words, to iOS at an affordable price. It is crucial for me to find a reliable and professional developer who can complete the project within a reasonable time frame while adhering to modern design principles. About the App Art & Words is a simple app designed to share daily inspirations with the world. Each inspiration is accompanied by a piece of art and music. The goal is to provide users with a brief moment of reflection, helping them disconnect from their routine for a couple of minutes. When users open the app, they are presented with: An inspirational quote for the day. A beautiful oil painting. A short piano music track. The app has no login or registration requirements—it’s ready to use right away. Technical Requirements Software Architecture The app must use a modern software architecture, preferably MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel), as it is the one I am using in the Android version. I will periodically review the code to ensure the pattern is being correctly implemented. Database The app uses a local SQLite database to store inspirations. I will provide the SQL files to create the required tables and the corresponding data dump (INSERT statements). Artwork Paintings are hosted on Flickr and fetched via HTTP requests. Music Short, copyright-free, 30-second music previews are fetched using Spotify's API. Push Notifications The app includes push notifications for daily inspirations. This feature should be implemented in the iOS version. Contact Section The app has a "Contact" feature allowing users to send me an email directly from the app without being redirected to external email apps like Gmail. This relies on native Android libraries and should have an equivalent implementation for iOS. Multilingual Support The app currently supports three languages, and I plan to add more in the future. I will provide all XML files with translations for integration into the iOS version. Video Sharing Users can share the inspiration of the day in MP4 video format. For this, I am using an Android library that integrates FFmpeg. I will share my VideoHelper class containing methods and FFmpeg configurations to generate videos to make your work easier. What I Expect A fully functional and polished iOS version of the app that mirrors the Android version. Use of Swift for development, leveraging the latest version. Timely communication and delivery within the agreed-upon time frame. Professionalism and a serious approach to the project. Important Notes I am only looking for serious professionals. Any fraudulent behaviour will result in immediate reporting and blocking. I will give all candidates the same opportunities, provided their proposals align with my budget and requirements. My budget range for this project is €250 to €500. While I won’t necessarily choose the cheapest offer, cost is a factor in my decision.
