design dining sets

I am a start up business intending to sell dining sets consisting of diner, salad and plates and mugs. I intend my product to have a point of difference in that they look unique and stand out amongst other dining sets. I am thinking of plain white quality diner plates that will have pictures of vegetables on the plate, either around the ring side or on the plate itself. I don't want the plate to be covered in vegetables for then it will look cheap but a select type of vegetables with perhaps small pictures (green, red colours). I will only know if i like the design after it has been shown to me and as I am not an artist, I can't try and draw it.
