I'm looking for an expert in materials engineering to design a medium-sized (20x20 cm) pouch/bag. Here's the challenge: This pouch has to have high Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR), allowing gases such as air and water vapor to pass through, but not bacteria or any particle contaminants.
The perfect candidate for this task would be:
- Knowledgeable in materials science
- Experienced in working with materials that have specific gas transmission properties
- Capable of researching and recommending the ideal material to be used
The material must possess two specific properties:
- High Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR)
- Resistance to bacteria and particle contaminants
Although unsure about the optimal material to use, your expertise and advice would be highly appreciated to guide decisions. My preference leans towards functionality over cost, but if the proposed solution is overly expensive, it might need to go back to the drawing board.
