I have simulated a PMSG connected to the grid through a back to back converter and a PI current control for both machine and grid side converters in dq reference frame. Negative step mechanical torque applied to the generator. The problem is that measured currents doesn't follow the reference currents in dq reference frame and speed of generator doesn't match with the applied torque value.
