Need someone with a lot of experience in MFC and win32. This is an ongoing legacy project. You will be improving and fixing bugs on a existing MFC application. Expertise in MFC is a must, knowledge of COM and DLLs will be very useful. You will also be porting parts of the application to C#/WPF. No knowledge of C# is needed. This is like a regular job, not a project. You will be required to share your desktop during work hours.
Hi, This is an Win32 C++ job no MFC. I am looking for a simple modeless dialogue box with the following functionality. The modeless dialogue box should have an edit control where text can be inserted and a button. On click of the button the edit control should be emptied, the text should be displayed below the edit control as a tag. On click of the tag text the tag should disappear. The tag text should have a different color background and a x icon to show the tag text can be removed. Looking for 5 tag texts to be added. Theses tags should be available for further use in my program. The dialogue box will be reused in a personal project and I am looking to learn from this example. I am using VS2019. Thanks. Frank

I've got a legacy VS2008 application that requires WebView2 integration, the older IE implementation is no longer viable. To accomplish this I've created and ActiveX control that wraps up the WebView2 API in VS2019. The parent VS2008 CDia...used for simple URL and visibility commands. All works and functions as expected. However, I need to intercept a double mouse click message to toggle full screen for the ActiveX control over which it was performed. Problem being I just don't seem to be able to intercept this message. The ActiveX control/WebView2 appears to intercept the WM_LBUTTONDBLCLK message first and simply dismiss it.
