Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design the user experience and interface for Selah, an innovative AI-powered app delivering personalized spiritual guidance. The ideal candidate will craft a visually appealing, intuitive, and functional design that resonates with our faith-driven audience, enabling them to explore Bible verses, prayers, apologetics tools, and more.

The app’s design will reflect its spiritual mission with a sophisticated and inspiring navy blue and gold color palette to create a sense of trust, reflection, and connection.

Key Responsibilities:
User Interface Design: Create visually engaging and accessible interfaces for features like the Bible verse generator, prayer tools, and topic-based scripture searches.
User Experience Optimization: Ensure seamless navigation and usability, especially for diverse features such as apologetics tools, emotional state integration, and personalized dashboards.
Interactive Features: Design user-friendly interactions for mood-based guidance, daily inspirations, and scripture searches.
Thematic Consistency: Incorporate navy blue and gold throughout the design to align with the app’s brand identity and mission.
Prototyping: Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design ideas.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into a polished design.
Feedback Integration: Iterate on designs based on user testing and feedback to optimize the app experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing mobile app designs (faith-based or AI-driven projects are a plus).
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and mobile-first design practices.
Familiarity with designing for features like AI-based personalization, interactive tools, and content-heavy applications.
