Hello, I am currently maintaining large applications written in VB6 for last 8+ years for two companies; an Australian and an American companies. I have extensive experience in creating and deploying VB6 applications including dependencies (ActiveX, Components, DLL, Databases, INI/Configuration files etc). I have setup with VB6 and all necessary tools to create VB6 applications and create setup installations. May I ask what would be your target Windows to install your VB6? Windows XP or later? VB6.0 expert, continue to use very extensively as is rapid application development, hard to decompile, several other plus marks. Hence am very familiar with ActiveX. Have extensively utilised dependency walker which bundles with Visual Studio 6.0. Most significantly am very familiar with the Package & Deployment wizard that also bundles with Visual Studio 6.0. and all issues therein as they relate to ActiveX and .DLL dependencies. If the assumption is they are not going to be on the installation target computer(s) then I can bundle them and provide basic documentation describing how they were bundled. You haven't described precisely the actual issue but probably this is quite easily solvable in my opinion.
