after asking multiple linux system admins in my social network without success and running out of options, i turned to this site to find someone with expert knowledge in the specific field.
besides the usual "yes can do can start immediately" kind of offers, the message from roaima clearly stood out. it was precise, detailed and honest. it was no question for me to choose him. he then logged in to take a look for himself before confirming to accept the challenge.
three days later (most time was spent by waiting for disk copying to finish) the raid was back on line. awesome!
