Hi! I am currently an Oceanography Ph. D. student at ODU. I study marine particles with FoSI optical systems. FoSI is a self developed shadowgraph imaging system with the capability to capture very tiny (resolution to 12 micrometer/pixel) and faint particles. Deployments of FoSI have been concentrating on oligotrophic ocean - BATS. I am processing the image data on softwares from MATLAB image analysis to Python programming language. Love to find fancy novel algorithms to deal with my image data! In addition to research, I am also a Teaching Assistant. Learning and growing.
