We are developing “TasteStack”, a platform that allows food bloggers, chefs and nutritionists to make their recipes and meals available via traditional supermarkets and merchants who offer online grocery shopping. We are building a platform where bloggers, chefs and nutritionists upload recipes and ingredients and be rewarded for purchases. Ingredients will be automatically linked to corresponding supermarket products making them available for consumers to purchase online. We would design a fully functional, interactive, user-friendly web and mobile application prototype, which would allow chefs and influencers share video or images of their recipes to users. The system would recommend food and chefs to users based on their preferences, and allow users create meal plans and purchase ingredients from supermarkets. Site / App Functionality 1. Authentication - Sign up and sign in for users. Users will be able to register with their Google, Facebook accounts, or manual sign up. 2. Preference Selection - Users will be able to choose what type of meals they’re interested in, vegan or non-vegan. Users can skip this process as it is not compulsory. 3. Feeds – Users will be to see a feed of different meals based on their preferences and who they follow. 4. Recipe Details - Users are directed to this page when they click on a meal on the feeds page. The page will show the video or images, ingredients and the method, all uploaded by the content creator. 5. Filter - Users will be given the option to filter meals based on price range, meal course and preferences (vegan or non-vegan). 6. Sort - Users will be able to sort by best match and top rated meals. 7. Explore – The explore page will show a feed of recommended meals from chefs a user does not follow. Users will also be able to search for meals and chefs. 8. Meal Planner – Users will be able to create meal plans from their saved items by adding a meal to a calendar date. The page will also show a list of existing meal plans previously created by the user. [login to view URL] – On checkout, users will be able to see a list of the ingredients required for their selected meal, and then select the supermarket they want their items to be purchased from. [login to view URL] – The payment page will show the total amount and provide the option to choose the means of payment. On selection, users will input their payment details and make the transaction. This page will show the chef’s details, including verification status, number of followers, and a dashboard to see user’s activities.
