I need a custom-designed finger for a 6DOF robot end effector. The primary use of this end effector is precision gripping, so the design must be capable of picking up a certain shaped metal part. The finger should be in such a way that we should be able to flip the part and grip at the other side of the part too. The designer will have to analyze the part and design the finger accordingly.
Key Requirements:
- Design must be suitable for gripping varied shapes and sizes
- The fingers need to be made of metal
- Experience in robotics and mechanical design is crucial
- Understanding of precision gripping mechanics will be a plus
