Description: We are looking for a skilled developer or team with expertise in WooCommerce, Python, and e-commerce automation to manage the migration of our current e-commerce website to a new platform. This project will include building on our existing stock management system, integrating multiple supplier stock feeds, and preparing the website for expansion into EU markets. Website Migration: Migrate all content, products, and data from the old website to the new one without disrupting existing operations or SEO rankings. Address database and code issues from the old website to ensure a clean and efficient new setup. Use tools like SEMRush or equivalent to monitor and improve SEO rankings during and after migration. 2. Stock Feed Integration (4 Suppliers): Integrate stock feeds from 4 different suppliers into the WooCommerce platform. Handle discrepancies in product names, descriptions, and pricing across feeds for the same product. Implement logic to: Identify and deduplicate overlapping products. Set pricing rules based on business logic (e.g., lowest price, preferred supplier, etc.). Automate updates to ensure real-time stock availability with minimal manual intervention. 3. Stock Availability Display: Implement functionality to differentiate stock availability between Mullingar Shop and Warehouse. Display clear stock levels on the website for each location. 4. EU Market Expansion: Implement multilingual and multicurrency support. Ensure compliance with EU tax and VAT regulations. Add support for country-specific shipping methods and payment gateways. Update policies and features for GDPR compliance. 5. SEO Optimization: Safeguard and improve SEO rankings during migration. Implement best practices for multilingual and multi-regional SEO. Use tools like SEMRush to actively monitor SEO performance throughout the project. Deliverables: Seamless migration from the old website to the new platform. Clean, optimized database and codebase for the new site. Automated stock feed integration for 4 suppliers, with deduplication and pricing logic.
