UltraCart Expert for E-Commerce Development

E-Commerce Web Designer/Developer with UltraCart Storefronts Project goal We are looking for an experienced web designer/developer who is truly familiar with UltraCart Storefronts and can confidently build and update e-commerce websites on this platform. We own multiple sites and need someone who knows UltraCart storefronts inside and out—or is fully confident they can quickly and effectively use it—without learning on our dime. If you’re new to UltraCart but absolutely certain you can handle it seamlessly from the start, please explain why in your application. We’re a straightforward, understanding team that values honesty, clear communication, and mutual respect. We’re looking for someone who shares these values and can help maintain a solid, long-term working relationship. Scope of work 1. Initial Project: • We will begin with a single site to ensure we’re a good fit for each other. This will include design and development tasks to create a fully functional e-commerce site on UltraCart. 2. Ongoing Projects: • We have a total of 7 sites in our pipeline: • 4 existing UltraCart sites that need design updates and improvements. • 2 sites currently on WordPress that need to be migrated to UltraCart. • 1 new site that will need to be built from scratch on UltraCart. After successfully completing the first site, we’ll move on to these additional projects. 3. Future Updates & Adjustments: • We are looking for someone who can make ongoing changes, updates, and improvements as needed. • This may include design tweaks, feature additions, performance enhancements, and possibly split testing (A/B testing) of various elements to optimize conversions. • Please include your hourly rate for future updates and maintenance. Technical requirements • UltraCart Expertise: Demonstrable experience working on UltraCart is strongly preferred. • E-Commerce Design & Development: Strong background in designing and developing full-featured e-commerce sites—both aesthetics and functionality matter. • Graphics & UI/UX: Ability to handle basic to intermediate graphics work for product images, banners, and overall site branding. • Problem-Solving & Responsiveness: Must be detail-oriented, responsive to feedback, and willing to troubleshoot quickly. Before the job is awarded, we’ll schedule a short Zoom or screen-share call to review our existing sites, discuss the required improvements, and ensure we’re on the same page regarding design direction and functionality. Please confirm that you are comfortable attending this initial call. Additional information For the initial project, we’ve listed a budget 750$-$1,500 as a placeholder. This is not set in stone. We are open to reviewing proposals and are willing to be flexible based on your expertise and proven experience with UltraCart. If you believe a different budget makes sense, please include a breakdown and justification in your proposal. How to Apply: • Share examples of your previous UltraCart projects (if possible).
