I need a 9' high by 9' wide retaining wall that needs a North Carolina stamped engineered drawing. It will be constructed out of 12"x8"x16" CMU Cinder Block. This drawing is not to scale because it needs to be 9' long. I am not sure if it needs the short turn out leg on the end: please advise if it will add stability to the retaining wall. The wall will be holding back approximately 7' 6" of backfill that is about 66% 3/4 inch washed gravel on the bottom and 33% red clay soil on the top.
