I am seeking assistance with migrating product data from my existing website hosted on City Hive ([login to view URL]) to Shopify. Since City Hive lacks a direct export feature, this project requires scraping the product data and preparing it for import into Shopify, ensuring all essential details are included. Key Project Requirements: Data Extraction: Scrape or extract product data from the website, including product titles, descriptions, pricing, images, categories, brands, and options/variants. Example product page: Legend Vineyard Exclusives LVE Cabernet Sauvignon. Ensure that product categories (e.g., Wine, Spirits), brands (e.g., John Legend), and relevant attributes (e.g., Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Wine, Napa Valley) are captured. CSV File Preparation for Shopify: Format the data according to Shopify’s CSV template. Include the following fields: Title: Product name Body (HTML): Full product description Vendor: Brand (e.g., John Legend Wines) Product Type: (e.g., Wine, Spirits) Tags/Filters: Relevant attributes for Shopify filtering (e.g., Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Wine, Napa Valley) Images: Ensure image URLs are correctly linked or imported Metafields and Filters Setup: Configure Shopify metafields to support advanced product filters (e.g., region, grape type, alcohol percentage). Ensure products can be filtered effectively by customers using Shopify’s built-in filtering system. Quality Assurance: Verify that all products display correctly on Shopify after import, with accurate descriptions, images, tags, and filters.
